Purpose and Philosophy of LEAP Preschool
LEAP stands for Learn, Explore, And Play in Christ. The mission of LEAP Preschool at Christ Lutheran program is to create an environment that allows for the growth of the whole child; spiritual, social, emotional, physical, and intellectual. We will do this through the use of daily devotions and Bible stories that teach of God's love and forgiveness, as well as through structured play and daily activities that encourage the growth of skills needed for school. At LEAP at Christ Lutheran we are parent-friendly. We welcome parent visits anytime, and we seriously consider all parent suggestions and comments.
M/W/F Preschool Class
The M/W/F Class consists of up to 12 students ages 4-5 years old. Children must be 4 years old by July 31st.
Students enjoy Circle Time to discuss days of the week, months, shapes, weather, colors, numbers, and nursery rhymes, music and movement, Jesus Time, Chapel with Pastor, recess, small group and learning time of letters by reading books, drawing, writing, and making crafts, centers and explore time, listening to stories, singing songs, and prayer. Each student is assigned a class session to be the VIP (Very Important Person-Teacher Helper). This student helps with daily flags, calendar, weather, and is line leader. They also provide snack for classmates and are able to bring a Show-N-Tell item.
Tu/Th Preschool Class
The Tu/Th Class consists of up to 9 students 3 years old. Children must be 3 years old by July 31st.

Information
Registration begins in February for the Fall School Year. Sessions are M/W/F 8-11am, Tu/Th 8-11am and 12-3pm. LEAP has scholarships available if needed. Tuition is due by the 10th of every month, September - May. Tuition for M/W/F is $100 a month, tuition for Tu/Th is $75 a month. LEAP Preschool board meets monthly. LEAP is supported by tuition, donations, and fundraisers. The LEAP Preschool board holds various fundraisers throughout the year, like Junk in the Trunk and RADA.
